Job Summary
Supervise patient care through verification of the nursing process, provide direction to staff, and ensure appropriate intervention for patient deterioration, equipment malfunctions, or disruptive behavior. Conduct rounds of all patient care areas to define expectations for accurate reporting, particularly for high-acuity patients. Serve as the off-shift patient care representative to listen to and investigate patient or family complaints, while collaborating with support services, emergency, and admitting teams to coordinate clinical needs. Resolve environmental and safety-related issues and notify the Administrator-On-Call of serious incidents or disasters. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, 5-7 years of clinical experience, and 2-3 years of lead experience, with a night shift schedule of 36 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- Registered Nurse [RN - State License]
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
- Clinical nursing experience 5-7 years
- Lead nursing experience 2-3 years
