Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and accurate documentation while supervising and mentoring nursing staff throughout the evening shift. Monitor resident conditions, communicate changes to physicians, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies. Serve as the clinical leader and primary resource for the nursing team from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, fostering a culture of teamwork and compassionate resident care. Promote a safe, organized work environment and support the interdisciplinary team in delivering exceptional care from admission through discharge.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current, active, and unencumbered North Carolina LPN or RN license
- Current CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of long-term care experience preferred
