Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and accurate documentation. Supervise and mentor Nursing Assistants and nursing staff throughout the evening shift. Monitor resident conditions, communicate changes to physicians, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies. Serve as the clinical leader and primary resource for the nursing team from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Promote a culture of teamwork and compassionate resident care while assisting in maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current, active, and unencumbered North Carolina LPN or RN license
- Current CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of long-term care experience preferred
