Nurse Supervisor

Direct and supervise implementation of resident care plans, including safety devices, positioning, and infection control measures. Coordinate unit services to maintain a homelike atmosphere while conducting regular rounds and ensuring staff treats residents with dignity. Assist in assessment, care planning, and task management for residents experiencing condition changes, providing education and obtaining necessary supplies. Monitor incidents, accidents, and complaints to determine root causes and initiate safety plans, ensuring accurate documentation through spot-checking. Facilitate communication between nurses, providers, and vendors to meet care needs, respond to emergencies, and ensure staffing continuity. Prepare performance reviews for shift staff and address emergent problems. Assist in direct resident care as needed.
