Job Summary
As Nurse Supervisor, oversee nursing care on the assigned unit, supervise staff, and act as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff to ensure implementation of policies and procedures. Responsible for supervising nursing care, treatment, and services during shifts, providing on-the-spot feedback, and conducting annual evaluations, with accountability for patient and staff results. Build meaningful patient relationships and support successful recovery by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs. Requires active RN licensure, with BLS and ACLS to be obtained within one year, and CRRN within a year of eligibility. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred. Prior inpatient hospital experience and formal leadership experience are required. The role emphasizes leadership, unit management, and collaboration to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a post-acute setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
