Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor overseeing nursing care, treatment, and services on designated shifts/unit with leadership responsibilities including supervising staff, providing on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling. Manages development and implementation of patient care programs and procedures, serves as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff, and focuses on building meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery. Requires active RN licensure, BLS with ACLS (ACLS within 1 year), CRRN (within 1 year), and inpatient nursing experience with demonstrated leadership. Emphasizes management of patient care and staff performance in a rehabilitation/post-acute setting, with a commitment to compassionate, tailored care and collaboration across the care team.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
