Job Summary
Lead nursing team on an inpatient rehabilitation unit, overseeing development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures; serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts; monitor staff performance, provide on-the-spot feedback, conduct annual evaluations, and administer discipline as needed; provide patient-centered care by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful recovery; celebrate patient victories and drive collaborative, high-quality care within a patient- and family-centered rehabilitation environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years).
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, with accountability for patient and staff results.
