Job Summary
As Nurse Supervisor, lead and coordinate nursing care delivery on the unit, serving as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff to ensure high-quality rehabilitation care. Responsible for supervising nursing care, evaluating staff performance, providing feedback and discipline as needed, and supporting personalized patient care programs and procedures to promote successful recovery. The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, tailored patient care and to foster a positive, outcomes-focused unit environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, with accountability for patient and staff results
