Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor role leading and coordinating nursing care on a unit within a rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include development and implementation of patient care programs, policies, and procedures; acting as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; supervising nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts; providing on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling; and building meaningful relationships with patients to support successful recovery. Requires RN licensure, BLS (ACLS and CRRN to be obtained within specified timelines), at least two years of inpatient hospital experience, and prior leadership experience. Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification (ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting)
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) with accountability for patient and staff results
