Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor leading nursing care on an inpatient rehabilitation unit, overseeing staff performance, and developing and implementing personalized patient care programs and policies. Serves as a crucial liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; supervises nursing care, treatment, and services during shifts or on a specific unit; monitors and manages staff including feedback, evaluations, and disciplinary actions; assumes patient care as needed and builds meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery; collaborates to ensure procedures are implemented with compassionate, high-quality care in a team-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) with accountability for patient and staff results
