Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor role leading nursing care for rehabilitation patients, supervising staff across assigned shifts or unit, coordinating with administration and nursing management, and ensuring implementation of care protocols with a focus on compassionate, personalized patient care. Responsibilities include supervising nursing care, providing on-the-spot feedback and performance coaching, developing and implementing patient care programs and policies, maintaining liaison between administration and staff, managing staff performance and discipline, and engaging with patients to support recovery. Requires current RN licensure, BLS (ACLS within 1 year), and CRRN within a year; two years of inpatient experience and prior leadership experience are preferred. Sign-on bonus available; benefits begin day one; on-site interviews. The role is based in West Ferriday, LA, with on-site requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
