Job Summary
Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff. Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit. Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline. Assume patient care as needed while building meaningful relationships with patients to support their physical, mental, and emotional recovery. Celebrate patient victories throughout their rehabilitation journey. Requires current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- CRRN certification
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity
