Job Summary
Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff. Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit. Monitor and manage staff, including providing on-the-spot feedback, conducting annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline. Assume patient care as needed while building meaningful relationships with patients to support their physical, mental, and emotional recovery. Celebrate patient victories throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
