Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor leads nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, coordinating and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Serves as a liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; supervises nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit; monitors and manages staff performance, conducts evaluations, and provides coaching. The role includes direct patient care as needed and building meaningful patient relationships to support recovery. Emphasis on leadership, collaboration, compassionate care, and leveraging cutting-edge technology within a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications include current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within one year, CRRN within one year, and two years of inpatient experience with a prior leadership role; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, with accountability for patient and staff results
