Job Summary
Implement Resident Services programs and oversee department functions by establishing medication systems and conducting daily Quality Enhancement reviews. Schedule and supervise staff while managing a rotational on-call schedule to cover staffing needs. Provide training and orientation for new hires and ongoing development for current team members. Perform resident assessments, reassessments, and activities of daily living assistance to determine service plan recommendations. Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and executive leadership to prioritize tasks and report safety or quality issues. Ensure adherence to local, federal, and company regulations for health and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN/LPN/LVN
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs
- Must complete all state required training to maintain licensure or certification
- Management experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team setting and to provide strong customer service
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Able to clearly communicate in English
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Able to effectively present to a small group setting or in a one-on-one basis
- Must be able to perform simple calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, decimals, and common fractions)
- Able to work flexible hours due to the demands of the position
- Position requires driving responsibilities
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Company's Motor Vehicle Policy standards
