Job Summary
Support the Resident Services Director in implementing department functions, establishing medication systems, and completing daily Quality Enhancement reviews. Schedule and supervise staff while maintaining a staggered schedule with rotational on-call coverage. Provide training and orientation to new staff and ongoing development for current team members. Perform resident assessments, reassessments, and activities of daily living assistance to determine needs and service plans. Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services as resident requests change. Communicate effectively with residents, families, department heads, and the Executive Director. Report safety or quality issues to leadership and ensure adherence to local, federal, and company regulations. Drive to and from work using company or personal vehicles while maintaining valid licensure and compliance with motor vehicle policies.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN/LPN/LVN
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs
- Must complete all state required training to maintain licensure or certification
- Management experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team setting and to provide strong customer service
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Able to clearly communicate in English
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Able to effectively present to a small group setting or in a one-on-one basis
- Must be able to perform simple calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, decimals, and common fractions)
- Able to work flexible hours due to the demands of the position
- Position requires driving responsibilities
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Company's Motor Vehicle Policy standards
