Job Summary
Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures while supervising nursing care, treatment, and services across assigned shifts or units. Act as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff to ensure seamless procedure implementation and top-tier care delivery. Monitor and manage nursing staff through on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling, assuming patient care as needed to build meaningful relationships with patients. This role supports Encompass Health's mission as a national inpatient rehabilitation leader with over 150 locations, fostering a team-driven environment focused on patient recovery and staff growth.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLScertificationwithACLScertificationtobeobtainedwithinoneyearofstartingposition
- CRRNcertificationtobeobtainedwithinayearofmeetingtheeligibility requirements
- Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfiveyears)
- Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
