Job Summary
Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff. Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit. Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline. Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery. Celebrate patient victories along the way.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLScertificationwithACLScertificationtobeobtainedwithinoneyearofstartingposition
- CRRNcertificationtobeobtainedwithinayearofmeetingtheeligibility requirements
- Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfiveyears)
- Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
