Job Summary
Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures while supervising nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or a specific unit. Act as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff to ensure seamless procedural implementation. Monitor and manage nursing staff through on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling. Assume patient care responsibilities as needed, building relationships to address physical, mental, and emotional recovery needs. Serve as a critical leadership role in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, fostering a supportive team environment focused on compassionate, tailored care.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLScertificationwithACLScertificationtobeobtainedwithinoneyearofstartingposition
- CRRNcertificationtobeobtainedwithinayearofmeetingtheeligibility requirements
- Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfiveyears)
- Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
