Job Summary
Lead nursing care and supervision on assigned shifts or specific units, supervising treatment and services while assisting in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff, monitoring and managing team performance through on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and counseling. Assume direct patient care as needed to build meaningful relationships, addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery. Obtain ACLS certification within one year of starting the position. Full-time employment with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLScertificationwithACLScertificationtobeobtainedwithinoneyearofstartingposition
- CRRNcertificationtobeobtainedwithinayearofmeetingtheeligibility requirements
- Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfiveyears)
- Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
