Job Summary
Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures while supervising nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit. Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff, monitoring and managing team performance through feedback, evaluations, and counseling. Assume patient care as needed to build meaningful relationships, understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful recovery. Lead the team in a supportive, team-driven environment focused on compassionate, tailored care within Encompass Health's national inpatient rehabilitation network.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLScertificationwithACLScertificationtobeobtainedwithinoneyearofstartingposition
- CRRNcertificationtobeobtainedwithinayearofmeetingtheeligibility requirements
- Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfiveyears)
- Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
