Job Summary
Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures while supervising nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or specific units. Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff to ensure seamless procedure implementation and top-tier care delivery. Monitor and manage nursing staff through on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling. Assume patient care responsibilities as needed, building meaningful relationships by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs to support successful recovery. Lead interdisciplinary teams in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, fostering collaboration and celebrating patient victories.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLScertificationwithACLScertificationtobeobtainedwithinoneyearofstartingposition
- CRRNcertificationtobeobtainedwithinayearofmeetingtheeligibility requirements
- Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfiveyears)
- Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
