Job Summary
Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures while supervising nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or units. Act as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff to ensure seamless procedure implementation. Monitor and manage nursing staff through on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, performance counseling, and discipline. Assume patient care responsibilities as needed, building meaningful relationships by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs to support successful recovery. Celebrate patient victories throughout their rehabilitation journey. Requires current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLScertificationwithACLScertificationtobeobtainedwithinoneyearofstartingposition
- CRRNcertificationtobeobtainedwithinayearofmeetingtheeligibility requirements
- Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfiveyears)
- Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
