Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor responsible for developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures; serves as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; supervises nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or unit; monitors and manages staff through on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance discipline; assumes patient care as needed and builds meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery; role emphasizes leadership, ensuring seamless procedures and delivering compassionate, tailored care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting; requires RN license, BLS and ACLS within one year, CRRN within a year, Bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least two years of inpatient experience with leadership responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead) with accountability for patient and staff results
