Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor leads nursing care delivery on assigned shifts in an inpatient rehab setting, coordinating with administration and nursing management, supervising staff, providing performance feedback and discipline, and ensuring adherence to care programs and procedures to support patient rehabilitation and outcomes. Requires RN licensure; BLS with ACLS (within one year) and CRRN (within one year); Bachelor's degree preferred; prior inpatient leadership experience favored. The role emphasizes compassionate, team-based supervision and the effective implementation of policies and patient-care initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
