Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor leads development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures; serves as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; supervises nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts; monitors staff performance and provides on-the-spot feedback, evaluations, and discipline; delivers compassionate, patient-centered rehabilitation care and builds meaningful patient relationships while ensuring adherence to care protocols. The role emphasizes leadership within an inpatient rehabilitation setting, collaboration across teams, and guiding staff to achieve positive patient outcomes using evidence-based practices and ongoing education.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) with accountability for patient and staff results
