Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor leading nursing care and program implementation on assigned shifts within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Acts as liaison between administration and nursing staff, supervises care delivery, provides on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations, and supports patient-centered recovery by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs. Role emphasizes leadership, policy implementation, staff development, and collaboration to ensure compassionate, tailored care and optimal outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) with accountability for patient and staff results
