Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor responsible for supervising nursing care and services on assigned shifts/units, coordinating with administration and nursing management, implementing personalized patient care programs and policies, and mentoring staff to support high-quality, compassionate rehabilitation care. The role emphasizes leading with empathy, ensuring seamless procedures, managing performance and providing meaningful patient relationships to support successful recovery. Requires active RN licensure; BLS and ACLS due within one year; CRRN within a year; Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum inpatient hospital experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
