Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor leads nursing care across assigned shifts/units, supervising staff, coordinating with administration and nursing management, and implementing personalized care programs and procedures. Responsible for monitoring staff performance, providing on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations, handling counseling and discipline, and engaging with patients to support their physical, mental, and emotional recovery. Role emphasizes leadership, liaison duties, supervision of care and services, and maintaining a patient-centered rehabilitation focus using collaborative, team-based approaches. Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
