Job Summary
Lead nursing team on an inpatient rehabilitation unit, developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or units; monitor staff performance with on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and disciplinary counseling. Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful patient relationships to support successful recovery. Requires RN licensure; BLS and ACLS within one year; CRRN within a year; two years of inpatient experience; and prior leadership experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred. The role emphasizes compassionate, tailored care and collaboration within a larger post-acute care team. Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead) with accountability for patient and staff results
