Job Summary
Lead nursing on an inpatient rehabilitation unit as Nurse Supervisor, developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures while supervising nursing care and staff across shifts. Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff, monitor staff performance, provide coaching and evaluations, and contribute to a collaborative, compassionate care environment. The role emphasizes building relationships with patients and families to support successful recovery, with responsibilities spanning leadership, implementation of procedures, and delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) with accountability for patient and staff results
