Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor on 3rd shift in La Plata, MD responsible for real-time nursing operations, ensuring safe medication administration, patient engagement, and proactive staff performance management. Roles include conducting patient and environmental rounds, overseeing medication passes and MAR documentation, enforcing 7 rights of medication administration, coordinating admissions/transfers/discharges, leading shift huddles, monitoring QA and compliance with KIPU and regulatory standards, and providing staff education and performance improvement. Requires active RN license; CPR/AED; 1-3 years in substance use or inpatient mental health settings; BSN preferred. Salary around $100k with DOE. 5 days a week, 11pm-7am; full-time benefits include PTO, holiday pay, 401k, health insurance, and education allowance.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with no restrictions
- BSN preferred
- Active CPR/AED certification
- 1-3 years of experience in substance abuse and/or inpatient mental health environment preferred
