Job Summary
Ensure community compliance with federal, state, and local clinical care regulations while partnering with administration to maintain resident and team health and safety. Oversee infection control practices and the safe distribution of medications, injections, and wound care per state regulations. Identify ongoing resident needs, maintain communication with families regarding care changes, and ensure med-techs and resident assistants complete assignments timely. Respond immediately to all emergent issues and delegate assignments effectively. Requires current licensure as an LPN or RN with a minimum of two years in senior care, home health, or long-term care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Nurse or Registered Nurse per state regulations
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a licensed nurse in senior care, home health or a long-term care setting
- Demonstrated competence in assessment skills, injections, medication administration, follow-up, and triage
- Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of the residents
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to delegate assignments
- Organizational and time management skills
- Good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
