Job Summary
The Nurse Staff Minister is responsible for developing and equipping NCF nurse group leaders while providing ministry to nurses and implementing NCF strategic plans. Key responsibilities include increasing the number of NCF chapters and their impact, leading nurses through spiritual guidance, building leadership teams, mobilizing nurses for outreach, and collaborating with other ministries. The position requires registered nurse licensure, a Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent, and experience in nursing practice. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to professional growth are essential for success.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure in state of residence.
- Bachelor’s in nursing or equivalent experience / other bachelor’s required, higher degree preferred.
- Experience in nursing practice required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in NCF leadership as a nurse educator or nurse (active or retired) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills (including the ability to minister to diverse ethnicities).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle all matters in a confidential manner.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to work in a diverse team environment.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is preferred.
