Job Summary
Utilizing the Nursing Process provides and documents professional nursing care to patients according to the medical plan of care. Responsibilities include coordinating and delegating care with other professionals, communicating findings as required, and performing job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director. Labor Nurses must obtain NRP certification and become ACLS-OB certified within one year of hire. Annual training and reviews, including fetal monitor training and unit-specific Code A responsibilities, are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
- ADN degree
- BLS certified
- Must have or obtain NRP certification within first year of hire
- Become ACLS-OB certified within first year of hire
