Job Summary
Nursing Services Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight of the nursing team, ensuring day-to-day operations adhere to patient care and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising RN and PCA staff, overseeing patient rounds and documentation in medical records, enforcing medication protocols, coordinating admissions and discharges, addressing patient and family concerns, developing collaborative relationships across care levels, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, coaching staff, and managing department goals within budgeting constraints. The role requires strong communication with medical staff, commitment to quality patient care, and active participation in ROS initiatives and program improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in nursing
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse license (current and in good standing)
- 2 years nursing experience
- 1+ years supervisory/management experience preferred
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification or American Red Cross Professional Rescue (within 30 days of hire)
- Clinical experience in mental health or chemical dependency services preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years of nursing experience
- Associate’s degree required
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse license in good standing
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification or American Red Cross Professional Rescue within 30 days of hire
- Supervisory/management experience strongly preferred
