Job Summary
Nurse Scheduler role supports the nursing department by creating and maintaining schedules, scheduling interviews, auditing personnel files, and tabulating nursing staff hours for each pay period. The position requires an active LPN license, knowledge of scheduling, and basic medical terminology, with at least some secretarial experience preferred. Responsibilities include creating the nursing department schedule, conducting interviews, maintaining files, and coordinating daily staffing meetings with nursing managers. On-site role based in Nashville, TN with standard full-time hours (M-F) and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- LPN license is required
- Knowledge of scheduling is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- At least two years secretarial experience (preferred)
- Must be organized and present a professional appearance
