Nurse Scheduler (CNA)

Job Summary
Develop and post nursing work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels and requirements are met. Build relationships with care team members to secure open shifts and modify schedules as needed. Maintain a current contact listing for call-ins and coordinate approval for time off requests with the Director of Nursing. Notify leadership of potential short or critical staffing levels. Manage attendance records and report necessary information to HR/Payroll for accurate time capture. This role requires state certification as a CNA or Qualified Medication Assistant and at least six months of scheduling experience.
Required Qualifications
- Certified in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Qualified Medication Assistant
- At least 6 months experience scheduling Certified Nursing Assistants, Qualified Medication Assistants, and/or Nurses
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalent diploma
