Job Summary
Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered nursing care for children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting while collaborating with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate individualized care. Monitor, assess, and document patient progress to ensure safety and quality standards, providing education and emotional support to patients and families. Mentor new team members and participate in ongoing quality improvement and continuing education efforts. Schedule includes Saturday through Monday from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM (overnights). This position is based at Royal Oaks Hospital, a subsidiary of Compass Health Network, supporting young people working toward emotional and behavioral stability.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing
- RN or GN that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
- At least one year of psychiatric experience
