Job Summary
Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered nursing care for children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting while collaborating with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate individualized care plans. Monitor, assess, and document patient progress to ensure safety and quality standards are met, providing education and emotional support to patients and families. Mentor new nursing team members and participate in ongoing quality improvement and continuing education efforts. Schedule includes Wednesday through Friday overnights from 7:30pm to 8:00am. This role supports Compass Health Network's mission to help young people heal and grow within a therapeutic, interdisciplinary environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing
- RN or GN that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
- At least one year of psychiatric experience
