Job Summary
Assess and document patient status upon arrival in the recovery room, then perform nursing care for patients in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period. Provide care related to surgical conditions and anesthesia types while monitoring for complications and notifying dentists or anesthetists as needed. Requires current RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS certification within 60 days. No on-call, holidays, or weekends. Required Qualifications
- Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)
- Exceptional work ethic

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing experience
