Job Summary
Registered Nurse for PRN/per diem in a pediatric ambulatory surgery center specializing in dental restorative and exodontia procedures under general anesthesia. You will perform nursing care in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period, assess and document the patient’s status on arrival to the recovery room, provide care aligned with the surgical condition and anesthesia administered, and monitor the patient while informing the dentist or anesthetist of any observed complications. Required: current RN license, nursing degree, knowledge of nursing process, BLS; ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire. Preferred: Bachelor’s in Nursing; prior ICU/perioperative experience; pediatric nursing experience (2+ years) with NICU/PICU exposure. Required Qualifications
- Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire
- Pediatric nursing experience minimum of 2 years, prefer NICU and/or PICU experience
