Job Summary
Nurse (RN/LPN) needed to provide quality nursing care in a Primrose Retirement Communities setting, ensuring residents’ needs are met per physician orders, Primrose policies, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include collaborative, person-centered care, adherence to nursing best practices, and support for residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Shifts available days, evenings, or rotating; full-time or part-time opportunities. Location: Council Bluffs, IA. Requires active nursing license in state, CPR/First Aid, and ability to work within long-term care/assisted living environments.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active nursing license (LPN, RN, LVN) in the state the community is located in
- Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification per state regulations
- Meet annual continuing education hours required for nursing license if applicable
- Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred
- Knowledge of current state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing as an RN/LPN/LVN in an assisted living setting
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team
- Basic knowledge of computer software and programs
- Able to work holiday and weekend rotation
