Job Summary
RN or LPN – Dayshift provided by RHA Health Services. The role delivers holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and those facing mental health and substance use challenges. Responsibilities include observing and assessing health needs, administering medications or trainings for self-administration, providing health-related training to unlicensed personnel, coordinating care with physicians and the IDT, conducting nursing assessments, and ensuring preventative medical appointments are scheduled. The position requires travel between four group homes in Holly Springs, Garner, and Sanford, NC, with Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule. Requires an active RN or LPN license and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program
- Active, unrestricted nursing license
- Strong communication skills with interdisciplinary team members, individuals served, and their families
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and effectively prioritize tasks
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
