Job Summary
Nurse Manager oversees the Ambulatory Care Department within Community Healthcare Network, coordinating clinic activity and the nursing regime, supervising nursing staff and allied personnel, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with the health team to ensure high-quality care. Responsibilities include coordinating nursing services, evaluating and implementing standards, managing referrals and follow-ups, staff development and education, and contributing to quality improvement in community primary care and public health programs.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- CPR certification
- BSN preferred
- Minimum one year supervisory experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Ability to organize work and supervise professionals and non-professionals
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
