Job Summary
Staff Nurse (LPN/RN) at Des Moines Wellness, part of Quadrant Health Group, providing comprehensive nursing services to patients in a detox/psychiatric residential treatment setting. Under Medical Director supervision, administer medications, conduct medical history screenings, oversee detoxification, contribute to Master Treatment Plans, document within 24 hours of admission, coordinate with Medical Doctor and Psychiatrist, maintain patient confidentiality, ensure adherence to licensure standards, and participate in in-service trainings. Requires nursing degree/diploma, Iowa licensure, 1 year of relevant experience, CPR/First Aid, and pre-employment clearances.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Community College with a degree or diploma in Nursing (LPN or Registered Nurse).
- Current and valid nursing license in the state of Iowa.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a chemical dependency/psychiatric setting, preferably in a detox unit and/or inpatient, partial hospitalization, or outpatient setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Successful completion of Pre-Employment Requirements including, a criminal background clearance, drug testing, and health screening.
