Job Summary
Implement nursing care in an ambulatory setting while administering medications with accurate dosages and monitoring for side effects. Assist physicians during emergency cases and screen patients using sound clinical judgment. Deliver quality care that fosters a warm, friendly atmosphere for patients, families, and staff through positive customer service and teamwork. Complete duties as directed while adhering to Patient First's policies and procedures. Requires Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey nursing license, one year of clinical experience, and keyboarding skills. Salary ranges from $31.00 to $43.50 with benefits including discounted medical, 401(k) match, and performance bonuses. Patient First operates 78 mid-Atlantic centers offering primary, urgent, and occupational health services.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Keyboarding experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Licensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Virginia OR Licensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Maryland OR Licensed to practice as a Nurse by the state of Pennsylvania OR Licensed to practice as a Nurse by the state of New Jersey
Desired Qualifications
- One year of clerical experience
- One year of clinical experience with administration of medications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a physician's office or hospital setting
