Job Summary
Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans while assessing and documenting residents' conditions and needs. Accurately implement physicians' orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments as required by state and federal regulations. Coordinate nursing care for residents undergoing therapy or procedures and assist with emergency measures for adverse developments. Supervise CNAs to ensure high-quality care is provided within the assigned unit. Requires an active RN or LPN license from an accredited school of nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as an RN or LPN in the state employed
- License must be active, valid, and in good standing
Desired Qualifications
- Valid CPR teaching certificate
