Job Summary
Assess and document patient status upon arrival in the recovery room, then perform nursing care for patients in the immediate postoperative and post-anesthesia period. Provide care meeting patient needs related to surgical conditions and anesthesia types while monitoring for complications and informing the dentist or anesthetist as necessary. Requires current RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS certifications within 60 days, plus knowledge of the nursing process. No on-call, holidays, or weekends. Blue Cloud is the largest pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center company specializing in dental restorative and exodontia surgery for pediatric and special needs patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)
- No on call
- No holidays
- No weekends
- Day shift
- In person
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing experience
