Job Summary
Promotes continuity of nursing services for residents by planning, implementing, and evaluating all nursing services during assigned shifts. Supervises CNAs, assists with coordinating patient care, and ensures adherence to policies for medication administration, IV/subcutaneous fluids, and care plans. Maintains clinical records, participates in shift handoffs, responds to emergencies, and collaborates with physicians. RequiresRN licensure in Virginia, a nursing diploma or degree, CPR/AED certification, and at least 2 years of nursing experience. Strong clinical skills, communication, and team collaboration are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or degree
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia
- CPR/AED certification
- 2+ years of nursing experience
